Montana - Big Sky Country... Road Trips, Hikes, & Other Miscellaneous Adventures

“I’m in love with Montana. For other states I have admiration, respect, recognition, even some affection. But with Montana it is love. And it’s difficult to analyze love when you’re in it.”
― John Steinbeck

Montana is called Big Sky Country, and for good reason...the skies are vast and unobstructed.
We are also well known for Glacier National Park, among other things such as Bison, Battle of the Little Bighorn, and Flathead Lake (which is the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48 states), and much more. The "Going to the Sun Road" in GNP is considered one of the most scenic drives in America, too. The first two photos above were taken on a visit to Glacier National Park while on Going to the Sun Road last fall. The next one is a view from a Sunday afternoon hike....taken midway up the hill behind our house. Then three photos from hikes in the Mission Mountain Wilderness, and the last was taken at the National Bison Range. Photos really cannot do justice as to how incredibly breathtaking the scenery is though. 😊

'Tis the season now that we take more road trips and do more hiking...here are a few of my favorite things to have on hand when venturing out either by rig or by foot. 🚙🚶‍♀️😎

On My Wishlist...

*Dorfman Pacific All-Season Crushable Hat
*Teva Tirra Sandal in Simply Taupe

That's it for now...
