Cooking Simplified: Doritos Taco Salad

This dish is another one from my childhood in the 70's...Doritos Taco Salad. πŸ₯—
The salad brings back fond memories of church socials, potlucks, and weekend get-togethers with friends. I happened to think about it again last year, and decided to make it myself. I will tell you that it quickly became a family favorite, as my hubby and boys all love it as much as I did growing up.
It's super easy to make, and the results are delicious. Be forewarned though...
it will disappear quickly! πŸ˜‰

Ingredients:
1.5 lbs. Ground Beef
1 packet Taco Seasoning, or make your own using my recipe here
2 Tomatoes chopped
1 head of Lettuce shredded, or a large bag of Salad Shredds
16 oz. bottle Catalina Dressing
15 oz. bag of Doritos crushed

Directions:
Brown the ground beef, and drain off any grease. Add the taco seasoning.
Once the meat is seasoned, mix in the cheese, chopped tomatoes, Lettuce, Catalina Dressing,
and crushed Doritos.

Easy peasy, and oh so incredibly delicious!!!
Since I have a large family, and they all love the salad so much, I usually double the recipe. 😊
Let me know what you think if you decide to give it a try! πŸ’•
